My Annotation on a "Bible Believing Christians"
If I believe that Jesus is the Son of God the same way that I believe that Michael Jordan was one of the greatest basketball players to live, have I fulfilled the conditions needed to be saved? Or is there more to belief than that?
Surely there must be more to it; after all, the devil also believes in Jesus. (James 2:9) So simply believing in orthodox Christianity does not equate to one's security in salvation. So with this reality; what truly separates a Bible believing true Christian from someone who simply knows of Jesus?

It comes down to delight
Can't you see? The missing link is not simply believing that Jesus is the son of God; but delighting in the reality that he is the son of God! For where your treasure is; your heart is to follow. (Matthew 6:21)
In other words, the things we delight in; our affections gravitate towards. This is why our aim at Making Much of Christ Ministries is to facilitate alignment of your affections. After all, no one encourages you to spend time doing your favorite hobby on the weekend; for washing your sports team compete on Sunday afternoons. This is because your affections naturally gravitate towards what you love.

Believing in Jesus is not a "accepting of the facts" issue; it's a delight issue
Once we come into this reality; The Holy Spirit helps us to see clearly. We recognize that our supreme value is in supremely valuing Jesus above all others. Now are affections naturally gravitate towards knowing Him more fully-which leads us to the Bible.
If being a Christian means to delight in the reality of our Savior Jesus Christ; then being a Bible believing Christian means we accept the Bible as the primary authority of how we come to know more about Jesus; wholeheartedly believing that the Scriptures will help us aim our affections at supremely valuing the supremely valuable.
